Fox Run Park
3 miles
It has been a long time since I've felt at home. Today I did. There is something about running through the trees on soft trails that makes me feel at home. Nothing is better than running through the pine trees with the heat of the sun bringing forth that wonderful aroma of a forest in the summer. Your legs burn, the sweat tickles your nose, your breathing is labored; but man oh man, what a great feeling.
I am in the process of moving back to Colorado and I cannot stress how nice it is to run, even on a wickedly hot day, in a Colorado forest.
Three miles; that's it. But it's a start.
